Backwords aims to follow recognized accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for this Site where reasonably achievable. This is an ongoing commitment, not a claim that every experience is already perfect.
This website
The Site is built with semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, responsive layouts, text alternatives for meaningful images, reduced-motion support, and color contrast intended to remain readable in light and dark appearance. It does not require a pointer, audio, cookies, or JavaScript to read its core content.
The Backwords App
The App uses native iOS controls and accessibility labels where possible, supports light and dark appearance, and provides visible states for sound-forward interactions. Because reversing spoken audio is central to the game, some gameplay depends on hearing and producing sound. We will continue looking for ways to improve access without hiding that limitation.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email accessibility@backwords.games. Tell us which page or App screen you were using, what device and assistive technology you use, and what went wrong. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and will provide an alternative way to access information when reasonably possible.
